Retinal Liposome 2% + Black Ginseng 30ml

An evening serum from Seoul 1988 that pairs retinal with black ginseng. Retinal (retinaldehyde) is a form of vitamin A that sits one step closer to its active form than retinol, and here it is held in liposomes for a more gradual release.

Key ingredients

Retinal (encapsulated in liposomes): a vitamin A derivative that supports skin renewal, delivered gradually to help limit irritation. Black ginseng extract: a plant extract valued in Korean skincare for its antioxidant content and revitalising feel.

How to use

Patch test on a small area 24-48 hours before first use. Use in the evening only, on clean, dry skin. Apply 2-3 drops to the face, avoiding the eyes, lips and corners of the nose, then follow with moisturiser. Start with 2-3 evenings a week and increase slowly as your skin adjusts. Do not use on the same night as acids or other strong actives. Wear sunscreen every day while using retinal. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor before using retinoids.

Suitable for

Normal, dry, combination and oily skin. Sensitive skin should start slowly and patch test first.
